Mother of necessity

Most of us have heard the saying, “That’s the best thing since sliced bread!” What do you think is actually the best thing since sliced bread?

The invention of sliced bread helped the housewives in preparing a perfect sandwich for their families.

Right?

Nicely cut slices of thin bread with cheese spread, eggs and some vegetables.

Yummy!!

So, next to this perfect and time saving discovery, I would like to raise a toast for the toaster. An automatic device, time saving(again), with melodious beeping and an appropriate size for the sliced ones to fit in. Takes about few minutes and we are ready with a tasty and a crunchy sandwich.

After all the eating let’s talk about some sanitation. A path breaking invention for keeping us all hygienic. Yes, you all are right this time, it’s the toilet paper. Very useful, safe and soft (better in every respect of leaves). Can also be used to write some business agreements, love letters and all.

Last but not the least, it’s the mother of all human beings. Our source of life, oxygen, necessity, soul and now I’m exaggerating. It’s the internet.  I guess we don’t need any explanation, for it to make a home in my list.
